SOMP for Kids
My friend, Rev. Doug Yagaloff, asked me to develop a Science of Mind curriculum that could be used in Sunday Schools. So I did. We envisioned a series of four books, but sadly Rev. Doug made his transition to spirit soon after our first book was complete.
You can learn more on the website, which also includes activities and a free download of two lessons.

Dreams Come True – Idyllwild’s Lemon Lilies Come Home
I wrote a spiritual ecology book for children before I knew I was a Spiritual Ecologist.
It’s a story about a young lemon lily who was excited to reach his blooming year, but knew he had to wait his turn. When his turn finally came, Grandmother Mountain was happy for him, but also sad as she thought about his future. “It can be dangerous to be too beautiful,” she thought.
She remembered that 100 years ago bulb hunters took almost all the lemon lilies away from their mountain home, and few survived.
But the story has a happy ending as the townspeople worked together to restore the lemon lilies and make Grandmother Mountain’s dreams come true.

Magic Acorn Stories
The story I keep hearing is about some friends who visit an ancient oak tree and discover a portal to a magical land where everything is alive and can speak to them. As they get to know these amazing beings – the trees and the wild things – they learn that their new friends are just like they are. We all need food, clean water, shelter, friends, communities, and safe places to live our lives.

The Power Puppies Play the Earth Game
There’s a book idea on metaphysics for kids that has been with me for 30 years. Reminding kids that they are not from here, originally. And that they are powerful creator beings having a great adventure on Earth.
