This juvenile red-tailed hawk graced my day with their presence on a beautiful winter afternoon at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area.
A lovely Bird Walk with Robin Roberts found this happy American Robin singing his beautiful spring song.
This sweet girl stopped by to enjoy some peanut suet on a chilly fall evening. So thrilled to see her!
This sweet Chickadee stopped by for dinner and was waiting patiently for a spot at the feeder. Such a blessing on a warm Idy evening.
Spring is such a magical time of year! Mama Bluebird and her mate stop by everyday, and it’s always such a blessing to see them. Wishing them a healthy, happy family this season.
I love our mountain pigeons! This pair has been hanging out in the cedar tree for a couple of days. Wishing them a happy Spring!
What an amazing day at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area! A kind birder with a long lens invited me to tag along to the Great Horned Owl Tree. I got a shot of Mom, but didn’t see Dad until I lightened the shadows in my shot. What an unexpected blessing!
And I’m meeting so many other birds that are new to me. Another great day!
Another amazing day. The meadowlarks are pairing up, the trees are singing with blackbirds, and I communed with a vulture.
